Too JazzyThis id is way too loud and the exhaust fan blows too much.....it makes it too hard to clean.

Don't wastefulness your money and time with this piece of garbage. It blows the dust through the ventilation. Badly engineered. Those guys got their degrees in a box of cereal.
gigantic little vacuum
Pros
This is an extraordinarily powerful vacuum cleaner, especially for its size. Its size and various attachments put aside it to clean almost anywhere. The long cord gives it a long reach.
Cons
That powerful motor makes a lot of ruction, but most vacuum cleaners do anyway. The picture shows it is black, but I received the trademark Dirt Devil red color. Power twine is not retractable; this may be an issue for some people. I don't mind.
Conclusion
If you want a full size vacuum cleaner's means in hand held size, then this is for you.
Benevolent Hand Vac
This vac is much more great than the typical battery powered hand vac. But, it is also loud and the air blowback is significant (watch you refrigerator magnets go flying!) This like the "rat on vac" of hand vacs...handy when you really need it, but irritating to use.
Sonorous but has good suction power
I have had the Dirt Devil Scorpion vacuum for about 3 years and it's tolerably good. I only use it about 4-6 times a year. It's not broken and don't expect to replace it anytime quickly. I hope it lasts forever.

SUCTION POWER - 5 STARS: This is a uncomfortable handheld vacuum but the suction power is incredible! You get even more suction power when you flip on the green tip (and it's spoken for! you can't lose it). I use it clean the filters from my Frigidaire AC unit and my (Rabbit Air) Air Purifier. The motor is important and it does not run on battery charges, just good old straight from the wall electricity.
Clean - 1.5 STARS: The filter inside the vacuum is kind of flimsy and clothy. When I vacuum, I can't fluster off the dust from the filter, it kinds of sticks onto the filter, and I have to peel away the layers of dust. To some populace, doing this is a dealbreaker, there's no way around it. Remember, I vacuum small dust particles, not large objects like Cheerios. I always have to rinse the weed out with water in the kitchen sink and let it dry overnight. ***Note: Other people, may have other opinions due to what they vacuum. I posted some pics, you be the pass sentence.***
NOISE - 0 STARS: It's loud...very loud. At first use, it may startle you or your pets, and gets infuriating after a while. It has a small whine to it. It gets louder when you flip on the green tip.
ATTACHMENTS - 3 STARS: Comes with a two attachments: One hose (~28 inches) and one gather attachment. There's nothing extraordinary about it. I use the hose attachment and the green tip the most. I don't really use the brush attachment so I can't opinion. You can connect the brush attachment directly onto the vacuum.
WEIGHT - 3.5 STARS: It's less than 4 pounds but it can be tiring to possess if used too long...I think that's why it comes with a shoulder strap. I don't use the shoulder strap because the vacuum gets a not any too warm for me. When I vacuum, I attach the hose and put the vacuum on the floor but it may tilt on it's side (be careful when doing this, please do not vacuum while the component is on its side).
I would like to see a better filter design, a grounded plug, and a sturdy base (so it doesn't turn over and over to its side).
OVERALL, I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HANDHELD VACUUM if you want suction power, I would not recommend this vacuum to population with dust allergies, since cleaning the filter is not ideal for some people. It does the job but it's not perfect. I old to own a Dustbuster and the suction was poor because it ran on batteries, I eventually threw it away. Since the Dirt Devil Scorpion is corded, the suction power will not abating like cordless vacuums.
This product seems to be made of good quality and I expect it to last for a long time.

Out-and-out Product!We bought this one to restore one we got two years ago. We primarily like it because of it's design and can be place out in the open on our kitchen counter. Also, it is very lenient to disconnect from the charger and turn on the power. The chocolatte color is very compatible with our color system, granite counter and the cabinets, which it easily fits under.
No FIVE STARS because we had to replace the first one after two years. It would no longer recharge enough to give the vaccuuming power needed to be true belongings.
Needless to say, we liked it enough to get another one. We have notice a different model number on the new issue and hope it means a longer entity product.
Unerring looking but functionally worthless
I bought this vac a year or so ago, and have regretted it ever since. Like most residents I purchased this one in particular because I was attracted to the aesthetics. It still looks good, but that is absolutely all it does.
The fetich won't hold a charge for longer than about a minute before its sucking power reduces to a pathetically unserviceable level. It won't pick up objects larger than crumbs, and even that is a stretch sometimes with the heavier crumbs. (Cross one's heart and hope to die.) It has a vent on the side that sprays out air right in the direction of anything you're trying to vacuum, exacerbating the quandary more than cleaning it up.
I spent extra money to get a vac that would look pretty when not in use, but it turns out all I got was a 60 dollar paperweight. It is Quite USELESS as a vacuum cleaner. I wish I had bought a cheaper, uglier vacuum cleaner - at least then it would be operational.
