Untaxing-weight vacuum cleaner
I was overwhelmed with lugging and transportation around and falling over my old heavy vacuum cleaner, so purchased this one. It's small, light weight (8 pounds), has three wheels and a lot of power, added to you can use the blower on the other end with or without attachments. So far, I am enjoying it very much. It cleans just as well as the larger one, is very mobile and easy to lift when usual up the stairs.

Not what I expected ...
I bought this barely gem (stainless steel to last longer) in March, 2010, to clean my new car. I checked ratings and found it rated higher than most, so I bought it - wanted something change one's mind than the rechargeable ones. I have only used it twice because of health issues but I am really, really thwarted. Suction isn't what I was expecting - really have to work hard at getting it to pick up most bits on my car's private. Also, the attachments keep falling off. I think I'll just (pardon the pun) suck up the loss and buy something else ... this one's too much of a trial to use and much too frustrating!

miscommunication
This Vacuum must be plugged in to your car battery-operated to operate. It does not have an internal battery so you are limited by the length of the wire. Looks like a very well made goods with a very nice design. But, I wanted a battery operated vacuum and returned it for a full refund. My e-mails were answered immediately and even though I did not get the product I wanted I would recommend the seller as being very courteous and professional. The seller was 'I Need Gear'.

Metro vac went kaput, in less than 15 minutes
I gave this to my aunt for christmas. It stopping working within the first 10 minutes of use. I'm infuriated. It altogether failed, the vehicles electrical fuses were all intact. I bought the Metro vacuum because it touted "Made in USA". That labeling made me deem good.
I have another (POS) 12 volt vacuum of my own, which cost only $19. It was Made in China. It works fine and is over 6 months old.
This not up to snuff of thing gives me gray hair.

I'll Let You Recognize In 20 Years.
I had an old Malicious and Decker car vac. that died after 20 years of use. That one was a great one. This one is turning out to a good one also. I hope it lasts that fancy. The extra tools help car vacuuming easier.

Drunk ? performance
I got this rather than the 115 v ideal since I'd either have to run a long extension cord from my apartment to the parking lot or use a DC to AC converter to run it. I thought that the 12 v should give up power and might be better than one of the rechargeable models. Well, I was wrong. The vacuum is barely adequate to use in the car. I like the hose and the fancy crevice tool to get down along the seats, but picking up anything more than dust and such won't get sucked up by this unit. I then ordered the Shark rechargeable with the skirmish attachment and find it much more powerful and useful. Now if they would just add two inches to the length of the crevice tool, it would reach between the tushie and the door jamb. I may keep the Metropolitan for light duty use, but it was definitely a disappointment especially at the expenditure. Maybe the 115 v model works better?
