B & D cordless paintbrush
The bracken is not as stiff as I wanted for cleaning pool tile and it moves rather slowly, but it works enormous for house siding, motor home and car washing. The head swivels a little too calm, but can be dealt with by being careful or bumping it back into place. All in all, a fairly good purchase.

I've tried many products for my titanic area of ceramic tile. PINK grout, no less. Of course it has been an ugly brown for a hunger time. I sprayed grout cleaner on the grout, charged up the cordless scrubber, and the grout was depollute in seconds. One thing I noticed about past reviews of this product was that it would not stay locked to keep the branches in one position. This is unfortunately true, unless you scrub side to side. If you try to push it back and forth, it does unlock itself. Also, I had a methodical time finding it locally. I called Black and Decker to try to find out where I could buy this, as Menards no longer carries it, and another reviewer said they saw it cheaper there. Black and Decker say they have discontinued this note, so if you want to order it, do it now on Amazon where it is still available. We also used it on our deck to get the sap and dirt off, and it worked well, as large as I went side to side.

Do handheld steam cleaners work?
Q: I see them in stores for under $50 (Black and Decker or Bissell brands, for example). Just interfering if they are worth the money if I have pet stains to worry about or if I should just rent a Rug Surgeon from the store.
Anyone have any firsthand experience with handheld steam cleaners? Thanks!

A: Be chary with purchasing steam cleaners especially handheld ones. Most of them don't get hot enough and need a cleaner other to them which can leave a residue behind in the material being cleaned. Leaving a residue behind can pull dirt making spots reappear. Another concern with handhelds is that the vacuum power behind them is not around strong enough to extract stains from denser materials.
Renting a Rug Medical doctor is going to be better but keep in mind the soaps and shampoos they offer with them can also something goodbye behind a residue. I found that instead of using the shampoo that comes with the Rug Doctor using Woolite Construction wash works better.
