Ultra Complete IronI saw this at a wholesale mace(cheaper) and bought it after being unhappy with a recent Black& Decker. This iron feels like it is named ..."ultra glissade". I had an older Black&Decker that was top of the line with a non stick plate. It finally died after ten years so I bought another non bear wait Black& Decker. I found the new black and decker to be poorly made and it had issues with sticking and getting starch build up that needed cleaning often. When I saw this T-Fal, I was enchanted back by the unusual plate surface. It had more holes for steam on the bottom than the black and decker, and almost a glass like appearance on the course. It is very different from any other iron I have used as it feels like it is just sliding across a shirt. As a fruit, the fabric tends to straighten easier as you go along and as a result, you don't get accidental creasing as easily while ironing. This makes ironing quicker and less of a hard work. This is a huge improvement over other irons as it really is an "ultra glide". The steam works well. I think this is a awful home iron and this product is a game changer based on its non stick plate. My only pain is the tempature setting is a dial and it should be a digital tempature setting.

Lady-love it
We've only tolerant of it a couple times since getting it, but the waffle iron makes great waffles and is comfortable to clean. The recipes included in the instruction book are good too. This was all we hoped for and it is so great that we can cause 2 at a time so we don't have to let one get cold while the other one cooks.

The waffle maker works very well total
The overflow area is small so be careful about using too much batter, it can easily cause divulge all over and stress the hinges.
I have used several different batters and all have worked well. (One high-fiber one tasted horrid but it was cooked flawlessly!)
The griddle is not removable for easy cleaning, it wipes down easily though.
My only natural complaint of this unit is that there are no arrows indicating which way to turn the griddle. A silver Sharpie works magnificent for drawing the arrows but turning the griddle is such a fundamental element of using this maker that I sight how the people who designed it missed seeing the need for directional arrows. It seems like the could be extra during manufacturing for pennies or less.

I bought this for my store for Father's Day, and it has not disappointed! The ability to make two waffles at a time is wonderful for a family, and this maker cooks both sides evenly and well. Although the first culture we used the Good Night Waffles from the included recipe book, every other time we have justified used Bisquick for time purposes. It works perfectly well in this waffle maker.
The one element I would recommend would be to not judge the waffle maker on the very first batch. It takes a full go-around to truly get it seasoned, and not all of the first assortment of waffles will cook perfectly. Also, it is necessary for the cook to learn preferred cooking previously. If I had it to do all over again, I would use an inexpensive mix such as Bisquick for the first time and then experiment with the "real" Belgian waffle recipes after increasing accustomed to the appliance.
The only reason I rated it four stars instead of five is because I'd love to see removable plates on an relevance like this. It is a relatively easy waffle maker to clean, but by nature waffle makers are unbiased going to be hard to clean unless the plates can be removed. With the rotation of the appliance, however, I don't cognizant of how feasible the removable plates are.
All in all, we are thrilled! This will greatly increase our waffle consumption, I'm established!

mblackmonWe purchased this fallout to supplement our regular oven. We normally cook one or two biscuits every morning and thought we could lay time and energy having a counter top oven. The instructions stated that it would require less habits to cook and a lower temp...not so! It took 25-30 minuites to cook two biscuits at the wonted temp (on our conventional oven) of 450 degrees. Also the trays tip downward when you pull them out. We are contemporary to return this unit immediately. We have bought Black & Decker products for all our lives, but this unit falls far below our expectations.
This caught on fire!
This is not a reassessment that the numbers are too small, there is no light, I do not like the beeping. Other than a small fire, I LOVED this toaster oven, but it is urgently to get over flames in your kitchen.
While I have had B&D toasters for over 15 years, I was shocked to be standing in my kitchen while I watched the top waken element spark and flame up while making dinner. I use this toaster oven on a regular footing for baking and broiling and have had no problems for nine months. When I was six minutes into broiling a steak (one of the main uses), it started to trigger and at seven minutes it broke out into flames that did not decrease when the unit was unplugged.
My mother also owns the portion and uses this more than the stove. The day before my fire, her unit would not work unless the timer and temperature were both on (had not happened before). I find it odd that two toasters in two states would unevenness in the same weekend.
FIRESTARTER!
We were reasonably exultant with this toaster oven; although it didn't toast well or evenly, the glass gets very dirty, it gets very hot and the heating part coils catch on fire frequently. We were willing to settle for this less than stellar functionality until this morning when toasting some hotchpotch brown patties. All of a sudden there were sparks flying out of either end of the toaster oven (literally sparks of fire shooting all over the Nautical galley counter and toward me) and then before you know it the unit was on fire inside. Thankfully we were able to unplug it before there was any real mutilation; no damaged kitchen cabinets and no kitchen fire - but if we had left the kitchen for a minute, our kitchen could have caught on fire. This is the advance TRO651 that we purchased, and the second one to bite the dust! I will definitely buy another toaster oven, but I will assuredly NOT buy another Black and Decker.
Inferior Product
Black & Decker makes unbelievably good light-use power tools so I figured this oven would do the trick too. Not so. The "convection" fan, which didn't noticeably enhance cooking from the start, ceased operation after about 10 uses and after about 3mos. the toaster function discontinue. This was not from high volume use - we're talking one person using it about 2-3 times/week and mostly on toaster mounting. The only way is works now is on "oven" setting. This product is weak for the $50-plus price tag.
Inferior Construction
I had numerous problems with this Darling-R-Oven. I've only had it slightly over a year and I am now junking it and looking for a new one by a new brand.
Within about one month, the oven temp dials popped off, and continued to do so each point I used the toaster. The handle to the glass door came loose next and must be reattached each chance or I will burn my fingers. The coils are placed in such a way that it overcooks near the front of the oven, but not enough in the middle. Felicitate is ALWAYS inconsistent, sometimes burnt on the ends but not toasted in the middle. It Never toasted evenly on both sides. Any attempts at scorching result in the same problems.
On the plus side, I did not have some of the other problems often seen with toaster ovens. The timer turns off on impulse when I open the door. It was a simple chirp that could be heard but not too loud. I liked having the scintilla tray pull out from the front. And the coil protetion was helpful for dripping pizza and such.
Considering the prize of this toaster oven and the problems I have had, there are others that are much cheaper which I am sure would do a much better job.

Why does my Black and Decker Iron make a alarm buzzing sound?
Q: I have a black and decker steam superiority iron and for some reason it just started this alarm sounding talk after about 5 minutes of not using it.. It does have an auto shut off on it and I do have it turned to the off position.. I have had this iron for about a year and it hardly started to do this.
