Buy one but purchase around first
I've owned an X4 for a link years now. I paid somewhere around $500 for it new in Hawaii, but mine doesn't have a turbo brush attachment. Surcease around on prices because all you really need is the X4 -- it comes with a wand, a crevice tool, and a encounter clipped on to the handle. Hundreds of dollars for the color red and a turbo brush? SEBO is better than a Miele because you'll in fact use it often. The canister vacs are too complicated to whip in and out of the closet to do a 5 min. vacuum. The SEBO is easy to whip around in a condo or trifling hourse. Don't get the elngated head -- it will make turning too tricky. Stay with the touchstone size unless you're doing hotel hallways. The X4 is the best because of the automatic level mark. I go from kitchen floor to deep pile rug without missing a beat. The bag system is better than Miele if you ask me (my relation has a Miele Pearl -- but seldom vacuums because of having to use the hose, the head, the canister etc.)

Paramour it
I bought this vacuum to supplant a Kirby. I've had my Kirby for more than 15 years, and it still works great, don't think it will ever die. However, over the years I have been replacing my rug with hard floors, and now I only have carpet in the 3 bedrooms. I have 7 dogs and have to vaccum A LOT. Dragging the Kirby around on the well-defined floors and changing out attachments (none of which attach to the Kirby when not in use) for the carpet and furniture was a pain. I done decided I needed a vaccum that better met my needs. I researched quite a bit and decided on the Sebo and I am thrilled with it. vacuuming takes me about partly as much time now, I easily go from one room to another and if I decide to use the wand it is right there. The Sebo picks up dirt and braids on the hard floors much better than the Kirby did. As far as cost, it is less than I paid for my Kirby, which came with many attachments I didn't requisite and never used. If I go another 15 years before buying another vacuum I can't complain.

Still thriving strong after one year - dog fur and all
We have three adipose furry dogs (over 70 lbs each)and have never had, until now, a vacuum cleaner that could handle the fur and dirt they bring in. We had been using Hoover's Windtunnel. They had daunting suction power, were bagless, and self propelled. But every single one (we've had three) broke down within 3-6 mos. It's like they were too convincing for their own good. Well, I got tired of spending $[...]bucks every 3-6 mos and decided to get a REAL vacuum cleaner. I wanted a Dyson, but after looking at it in bodily, I didn't like its weird configuration and awkward handling. The sales guy said, try this - and peaked to the Sebo. It was sleek, easy to handle, had thoughtful user features (eg: they include caps with the suitcases, so when it comes time to dispose, you can cap the openings so you don't get a face full of dust, the cord is SUPER extensive compared to the Windtunnel - no more having to stop vacuuming because the cord doesn't reach, the swell brush slides out easily for cleaning - no more dismantling sessions with screwdrivers and pinched fingers!). Then I looked at the bounty - OMG $800 for a VACUUM CLEANER!? But heck, I'd already spent around $900 in less than a year with all the Windtunnels I'd bought. I ended up getting the SEBO. I expectation I'd hate dealing with bags again, but with the Sebo it's no problem - unlike the bagless Windtunnel where I had to dump the doll-sized canister after every room - I can go five entire house vacuumings before having to empty the Sebo bag - and it's NOT because the Sebo is doing a poor job - it's doing a gargantuan job! I thought I'd regret it not being self-propelled - but the Sebo is so light and powerful, it doesn't need to be. It's been over a year with the Sebo and protection't had a single problem. Am I happy - you bet!

Two years and loving it!
I've now owned my Sebo for two years and I still bent it. My first vacuum was a cheap Hoover; it did okay but my sweet father-in-law killed it when he used it to purified up after a construction project. My second vacuum was a commercial Sanitaire. It lasted over 25 years and was a right workhorse, but it was noisy and heavy and didn't have a wand. My son killed it when he tried to vacuum up a sacking belt and destroyed the vacuum's belt and burned up the motor. Repairing it would have cost wellnigh as much as buying a new one. I spent months researching vacuums before settling on a Sebo and it has been a great purchase. Very expensive but I surmise it to last at least another 20-30 years. My home is half carpet and half tile and I use the Sebo to vacuum up both. It adjusts culmination automatically and does a very thorough job on both surfaces. It is quieter than the Sanitaire but both are fairly heavy vacuums. If you have united problems you may want to look for something lighter (such as the Sebo Felix). I particularly love the telescoping hose. It reaches 8 ft. and I have an supplement hose that allows me to climb up a tall ladder and clean second-story window sills and go broke hangings. I don't recommend the stair and upholstery turbo brush as an add-on; it really doesn't bath well and I prefer to just use the vacuum and wand on my stairs. (Here again the Felix would be a better and lighter vacuum for this tenacity). I'm amazed how long it takes to fill the bag to the replace line and the belt is guaranteed to last the life of the vacuum. It also has an robot-like shut-off if you try to vacuum up a canvas belt, like my son did, so the motor won't fry. It lays down flat and has a low rake it in so it can reach under furniture. It is recommended for allergy sufferers because of it's great HEPA filtration system and it in fact sucks up the dog hair after my son and his dog have visited. I love this vacuum!

I Should Have Bought This Vacuum Three Pets Ago
I cycled through several stages of penurious-vacuum ownership (denial, anger, bargaining, grief....) before finally falling $800 on this Sebo. Until it entered my life, I had no idea how heavy, loud, awkward, and ineffective my (very warmly rated in Consumer Reports) previous vacuum was. We considered a Dyson but it felt superficially made, and reviews were quite uneven. This Sebo just rocks. The tools are wonderful, and the machine feels like it's propelling itself across the confound. Dog hair: gone. Best of all, it automatically changes heights when I move from carpet to hardwood to tile. High-priced, but if it lasts as half as long as it's supposed to, I will consider it money well spent - especially for a two-occupation family with grade-schoolers, a furry dog, and limited time to spend on cleaning.

The Vanquish of the Uprights
For starters consumer reports completely blew this discuss because they did not understand the European specs. It has an S-Class Filter that is the European equivalent to a US HEPA clean. So that was consumer reports first mistake second the pile adjustment. They listed it as not having one. It is fully unavoidable and mechanically senses and adjust to the proper height and pile every time. It is the best aright I have seen yet. The brush head is easily the best design out of all. It can be easily removed to cut locks of in less than a Minute. The Belt has a lifetime warranty to boot! It is one of the lightest uprights you will use period in appendage to one of the quiets unlike an oreck which is the loudest!! These vacuum cleaners will last for years and are so open to service. I have had my Sebo for 6 years and have pets. It does far better than the Dyson it replaced that broke belts and authority a ton. The Dyson was built far weaker...so much plastic and fittings. The seal of the systems was terrible. Is this good the price? Considering in the 5 years prior to this unit I went thru 3 vacuum, GE, Dirt Prince of darkness and a Dyson all equaling the cost of this unit. You can find it much cheaper than here...I got mine for $575. When I bought it the guy had me try everyone he had at the store the Brightness, Miele, Dyson, and said this should be the last one you ever buy, I didnt believe it but I do now. They wheeled and deal on these so look around. It is the trounce one I have used yet! If I had one negative it would be the hose wand could and should be longer...oh and if you are really picky the brush source cant be switched off but I am yet to run into a problem for this is used on carpet only...which you will never shut off the brush head.
One side note. I have recently noticed these are second-hand in all Sheraton and Hilton hotels I have stayed at. Next time you are at one that should tell you enough right there. They are more than built to take a injury!!

Don't buy this vacuum
Enjoyably vacuum if you have wall to wall carpet.
If you have wall to wall tile "like we do" and bewilder rugs don't buy this vacuum.
It's made to go under furniture, which it does well. But because of that you can't lift
the front of the vacuum over the leading edge of overthrow rugs.
You have to lift the entire vacuum and place in in the middle the rug.
If you get anywhere near either end of the rug it is sucked into the vacuum and you have to upon it off.
When you get to the end of the rug you can't drag it back, you have to lift it.
To vacuum a throw rug 20" by 30" you have to lift the vacuum about 8 to 10 times.
3 rugs per range time 5 rooms I have to lift this vacuum over 100 times.
Your back gets soar.
The hose is also to knee-breeches and pulls the vacuum over, if you are not really careful.
This vacuum was a big letdown for us.

Vacuum Cleaner Reviews: SEBO 9570AM Automatic X4 Upright Vacuum, White
I had huge expectations for this vacuum before I began using it. It is well made and has a uninterrupted handle, but for $700 you would keep in view this. The problem is it has trifling suction and accordingly does not pick very well. And this already piddling suction degrades with all speed as the bag fills. I have relegated this Sebo to the stand and have replaced it with a far distinguished Dyson which expenditure far less and has much greater vacuuming power.

What you Should Know About Upright Vacuum Cleaner Rating ...
Although some of us may conceive of that upright vacuums are among the oldest kinds of vacuums, they are still very much in use. Manufacturers have been producing individual models and putting innovations that it can get indistinct for some consumers to pick the truth mark. How do you lift your judgement? The wealthiest way to find the licence upright vacuum for you is to look into an upright vacuum cleaner’s rating. Goods ratings are frankly consumer generated evidence or reviews. This is vast intelligence for you because you are in actuality hearing from residents like you who have had first hand in glove quickly know-how with a spin-off. Here are some examples of what raters look for in an upright vacuum maquette.
Sebo X1
This outcome is a effect of German engineering and is in truth still intended a grand edge even at $500. Its paramount emphasize is mechanization which merits it a turbulent upright vacuum cleaner rating. With this likeness, cleaners impulsively be familiar with when it’s every so often old-fashioned to metamorphosis slime luggage because the piece impulsively stops when the old bag is full. It also has some other eminent and utilitarian features such as its pliable peak, numerous wheel, a filtration system and conflicting brushes. This paragon is wonderful for serious complex maintenance both at habitation and in the responsibility. With all its features and more, Sebo X1 is surely advantage the guerdon.
Sanitaire S782
Sanitaire in all likelihood has one of the tucker bargains for your billfold with products that do not payment more than $200 like its S782. Furthermore, it can in all probability get a habitual acute upright vacuum cleaner rating because it is both powerfully working and little. Its rope that preparations 30 feet can get you through afield spaces and its controllable cross of 14 pounds will admit you to obviously bring it where you requisite it. Departure from the subject from these beneficial features, it also too shuts down when a grunge jam occurs. It has a collapsible handgrip and has look-alike motors. This is positively a immense selection to more overpriced brands and models.
