Doesn't fit
I have the verdant Optima lightweight vac. Love it too but hate cleaning the dustcup/filter. I will try the nylon veneer tip that someone mentioned. My vac came with the DCF-10 (grey). When I just went to put the DCF-14 Hepa winnow in it, I can't close the dust cup screw top either.

Doesn't fit correctly :(
I was delighted to find such a cheap HEPA filter since the DCF-10 is 20+$ at k-mart but this filter doesn't fit virtuousness in my Eureka Optima that is made for this type of filter. It does not sit well on the tube that the dcf-10 slides into and I'm not superior to twist and lock the dust cup lid with this filter on. I am very disappointed.

Superior!
This separate was easy to install and there is no odor when I vacuum. The Arm and Hammer makes a difference.
