Paramount Carpet Shampooer I've Owned
This is a awful shampooer. I've read a good majority of the Reviews before purchasing this. I decided to try it (I have an older dog that gets disturbed alot), since my Hoover carpet shampooer died. I am thrilled that I got the Bissell. What a difference, it is easier to use. Only one pail for the water (I hated having 2 separate tanks that I had to keep refilling and emptying, now it is one trip). This shampooer works extensive. I liked it so much I decided to shampoo both the living room and dining room carpets. They came up so worthwhile, that I then decided to do my bedrooms. Very pleased. Plus the price was great. Had a rebate for $50 from Bissell, increased by it was on sale with a $20 gift card. I've had this for over 6 months now and am very happy.

requests improving
I did not get the spin-off I ordered... a smaller less effective model was sent. Also the bladders are way to small and many trips are needed back to the excessively source.

Pliant clean-up
This steam cleaner is very submissive to use once you put it together. The directions don't clearly show where the attachments go, but that's the worst I can say about this product. It is VERY easy to take apart and clean the pet fraction and dirt out of. The one I was borrowing required a screwdriver to reach accumulated cat hair and the handle parcel had to be laid flat and unsnapped to access the water tank. Picking up the water tank divvy up in this machine is as easy as picking up a bag with handles. All in all, a great, no fuss, user friendly upshot.

not benefit it
This clique is a piece of crap. I worked one time before breaking down on us. The rotating brushes no longer m, which we found out was a "common problem" with this machine. Also, it's true that it picks up very little dirty water. The only redeeming viewpoint of this machine is the brush attachment which still works. Don't waste your money on this.

had some impregnated, but solved it
We've had our Bissell for almost 10 years, only adapted to it 4 or 5 times. It had been a few years since the last use, and this time, very little water or cleaner would come out. I read a lot of the reviews here, and after some investigation, decided to check to see if the spray nozzles were clogged. Yup, they were. You have to remove the water tank, and you should see the 2 nozzles (red on my exemplar). Gently remove them from the tubes and check by blowing in the end. I put a toothpick in to clean out some dirt. Seems to industry fine now.
One new problem is it seems to drip water out of the bottom even when the trigger isn't depressed. We had to go over the rug again with an empty water tank to suck up the addendum water.
I read a lot of reviewers had thrown theirs away due to this problem, hopefully this fix will set apart some.

bissell proheat 2x
I have old the cleaner only 3 times on carpet so far. I enjoy the ease of the machine. Easy to fill/empty/use. Cleaner does the job; get a kick the heat feature. Carpets not left so wet as with other cleaners.
Where Amazon is concerned, the price of the motor was excellent, delivery timely.

Bissell Proheat 2x 9500 - well merit the price !!
I well-deserved purchased this Bissell Proheat 2x 9500 to replace my Hoover SteamVac. The Hoover cleans ok, but I surely wanted this Bissell. This Bissell Proheat 2x 9500 is well worth the additional cost !!
The setup was extremely relaxed, and the instruction manual easy to understand. The tools are far easier to use than on the SteamVac. Please note that the guarantee EXCLUDES commercial use.
I didn't find any "yuckiness" with emptying the dirty water for which some reviewers have complained. The indecent water does surround the clean water bladder ... HOWEVER, there's a little hold forth for emptying the dirty water. It's far cleaner to empty the dirty water than gunk in washing tableware.
The heater does exactly as promised -- it warms the clean water to 15 degrees above the temp of the not be sensible poured into the bladder (hot tap water only). The machine is no heavier than an old-fashioned vac, or one of those rented doormat steamers.
I have cats and cat parents will understand how cat stains and "litter box issues" can leave set in stains. This Bissell Proheat 2x 9500 has removed them all !! For some, it did take a few passes. The upholstery weapon also removed a really old stain from an antique chair.
I've used it three times now, and my beige carpeting looks like new again. Gifted CARPET CLEANER !! (And "no" -- I do NOT work for Bissell.)

Are you mystified???
If you're looking through these reviews you're to all intents as confused as I was a few weeks ago. I didn't realize there were so many choices on the market. I cleaned carpets professionally when I was younger so I had a melodic good idea about the features necessary for the best cleaning job. Since many of the models had identical features, I clear on the Bissell Red Berends 9500 (OK--I liked Red). So far, I think I made the right choice at the right penalty.
The distribution of the cleaning solution, the mechanical action of the double row of brushes, & the impressive extraction of dirty water are all the elements you need for a complete rug cleaning job. Sure, you have to empty the befouled water often & replace it with the clean, but isn't that what cleaning is all about? Besides, changing the water is really easy because of the inimitable way it's designed; and, you don't have to measure & mix the cleaning solution because you can dial it automatically for light, normal or heavily soiled areas. You can also set it for a the highest rinse to remove some of the soap solution. I like this feature because leftover soap tends to converge dirt quicker if it's left in the carpet. I haven't had a chance to use all of the 4 hand tools yet--except for the chink tool which cleans the edges. It works great---even has a little sprayer on it to pinpoint the besmeared areas by the baseboards.
I can't say that carpet cleaning is a fun job, but this machine makes it enjoyable because it does such a massive job. Most of the time I kept the solution dial at "light" because it seemed to clean well without having to use more soap. Peradventure this was because the carpet had been previously cleaned & some of the old soap residue still remained. This was where the "rinse" feature came in nearby. The entire unit seems to be well made & should give me good service for years to come. I hope I'm right.
OK---the choosing is still yours. I just wanted to limit your confusion.

I've owend my Bissell DigiPro for over a year...
And I have catchy much liked every single thing about it until last week. Let me start by saying I did not buy this vacuum here, I bought it at Walmart. My last straight vacuum broke and I was adamant about getting a canister vacuum due to hardwood and carpeted floors, light preponderance, and easier carrying up stairs. (The uprights are so damn heavy and my parents loved their Bissell canister vac from the 90's) I didnt definitely have any issues with this vacuum over the past year and a half. We have dogs and cats, no issues with sucking power or clogs. We have hardwood, rug, tile, and stairs...no issues with ANY of those surfaces. With this vacuum I practically threw my brooms away. HOWEVER...last week my Bissell poor. I knew it was going to happen, I could tell. Certain pieces on this vacuum are FLIMSY AND PLASTIC when they should be metal, etc. The vacuum flat where the "Pole" meets the "Foot" (foot meaning the flat part where the brushes are). I wasnt vacuuming under anything, or around anything. It wasnt "knocked" or "hit" I was hardly vacuuming low carpet and the plastic literally snapped. It snapped below where the pole connects to the foot so the wire that connects them is still in tact but the pole and the foot have sharred plastic around them and no tape or glue will put it back together. Called Bissell and was told I needed to repay the Pole for $43.99 and the foot for $64.99, since both pieces obviously snapped apart, totaling $108.98. I unbiased dont know that it's worth it. I wasnt blown away by this vacuum, although I had no real issues with it, my old high-minded did clean a little better. I will take my $108.98 and go buy a crap vacuum from Walmart...since they all seem to be disposable these days anyway. BISSELLS Enumerate: [...]

Unfortunately, this result does not SUCK.
When my upright vacuum died after I had replaced 95% of my rug with hardwood, I thought a cannister vacuum would be a better choice. I have two other Bissell products (the Pro Heat 2X carpet cleaner, and the SpotBot) and have been elated with the performance of both. Unfortunately, the DigiPro did not live up to my expectations. There are some nice features, like the telescoping facet of the wand, and the unit is less noisy that the old upright. And I sort of got used to the heavy wand and the clunkyness of it. But now I find that the sincere Bissell vacuum bags have such a flimsy built-in gasket, that air leaks in at that point and there is no suction at the end. Bissell customer bankroll was not helpful and are not aware of any problems. I will try to find the non-Bissell vacuum bags that I bought once before that had a stronger gasket, and save my pennies for a new vacuum that indeed does suck.

Hoover 12 amp is sick.
This is not a bad mcahine but does not have enough suciton power. I initially opted for this one becuase it has a powered scrub but the suction let me down. HEPA filter is nice but I would prefer more suction and use a HEPA BAG.
Not a RECO.

Monstrous Vacuum, Waste of Money!
My bride and I purchased this vacuum probably four years ago. At first we thought it was great, worked good and was easy to use. Over chance, however, I've become less and less enamored with it. Let me give some examples.
First, it does clog very easily because of the design. Secondly, I've found that there are issues with keeping a considerate connection between the hose and the canister section. As you move around with it, it tends to try and yank itself out, resulting in constant and irritating 'brown outs' where you lose power to the sweeper (and the light).
Another thing I don't like is the suction. It starts off appealing good, but it drops off pretty quick and towards the end, when the bag is filling up, it's pretty much useless. And no, the HEPA purify does not work very well at all on this unit, it blows the majority right back out. I don't personally use this feature, or care about it I theory I should say, so it didn't matter to me. If it matters to you, avoid this unit like the plague.
Finally, indubitably the worst thing, is that the hose is constantly kinking itself, becoming twisted (to where it will keep trying to kink until you untwist it) and so on. The last straw for me was when the hose expressly separated from the handle without warning. One minute I'm vacuuming, the next I hear a suction noise and take notice of that I'm holding onto a handle where the hose is dangling out the end by a thread (the piece that has the wiring in it).
I got a couple years of navy from this unit, and it does vacuum, but it's got too many imperfections to it. I would never buy this vacuum again and I'd strongly advise anyone here to carefully read all these negative reviews, look at all the regular problems (especially the hose!) and steer far clear of this thing.

Rug attachment clogs easily
The rug attachment has clogged twice in the handful of times I've used it. The first time, I had to take off six screws to unclog. The newer time, I managed to clear it with a long screw-driver and the wand was also clogged. My 15-yr old Hoover picked up gambler.

calamity
I have had this for two years, and now I'm looking for a unique machine. It does not remove any stains, or spots, unless you get them right away while they're still wet. It makes my rug shed and then spit out big hunks of wet dirty fibers all over my floor. I then have to wait for it to dry and then vaccuum up all the mucky fiber piles. Yuck!
Plus, after using it about 12-15 times, it started leaking. I've had it cleaned, and it still leaks. I was told "it's launching run".
Its not worth the money, that's for sure, and I'll never buy another one.

A very kindly rug cleaner for twice the price
I had bought this for my trouble after a lengthy search on the internet and we've not been disappointed. The first occasion to use it came after one of our four legged pets had an chance on our beige rug. It loads easily and it's handy how the clean water and the waste water allocate space on the small, cartridge. It's surprisingly light weight too. We'd had a Bissell previously from about 10 years ago and that was a substantial, 4 wheeled item that you pulled behind you. As I recall that cleaned pretty well but all the water fittings leaked no subject how hard you tightened them. I'm glad to say that this Bissell cleans even better and there are no leaks to be seen.
This has been a good leverage for us!

Not What I Expected
This Power Steamer is big cumbersome and heavy , It did not clean as well as I expected it to for the money . I went with this one because it was not the cheapest and had read other reviews on it and deliberating it would work for me but it didn't take out the stains and also it causes carpet to shed . The only thing good I can say about this steamer is it picks up the liberally good and you can see what dirt has came up through the clear view tank in back . If your carpet gets unusually dirty from kids than select another machine ! Don't waste your money as I did .

Love Mr. Bissell,
We recently purchased a Stop-Off Coup d' Remanufactured 3760R vacuum cleaner produced by your South African private limited company. It seemed a trivial into working order, and being rather practical with insensible devices, I attempted to reattach the hose hypnotize but found myself absolutely flummoxed.
Finally I admitted my remissness and called your Consumer Services hotline. The Councillor with whom I spoke offered to vend me a Liftoff Contort’N Get Hose Replacement for twelve dollars. I asked if the vacuum was not immersed under some phylum of promise, since we’d had it less than a week.
Her comeback? She waived the shipping fee.
Dying to get our vacuum cleaner working again, I trained payment with my commendation credit card, and the replacement hose has since been shipped to our home, and I am twelve dollars poorer. Not to problem, the sum will not insolvent me.
However, after getting off the phone, I took a few minutes to go over the Purchaser’s Beacon.
