    Clunky, expensive, but works well
The Fein PB350 Stimulating Floor Brush seemed like a good idea: Take a first class (albeit heavy), peace shop vac with good filtration and also make it the inside-the-house vacuum cleaner by adding a $240 powered beat brush kit. And as other reviewers note, it does a good job picking up dirt. Here's the problem:

    * The power twine that runs from the unit to the power head is on the outside of the hose and tangles easily. The partially dozen or so clips Fein includes are half what you need. The cord-and-hose combination, even with spear-carrier clips, is clunky and looks kind of dorky. Guys may find it acceptable but spouses may not.
    * Debasement the power cord to swap out the power floor brush is a hassle, so I bought a damaged Fein hose, for $60 -- one for regular tools, one for the power floor brush, and I swap out the express assembly
    * Total cost works out to about $700-$800: 8 gallon vac, the wet/dry tools kit (about $100), the electrifying floor brush, and the second hose

We went this direction because our house vac was dying and I figured, what the heck, give it a try. If I did it again, I'd get the 6 gallon Turbo II not 8 gallon Turbo III because the still make of bulky for what I do (although still way smaller than the 16 gallon Craftsman shop vac we still have#, and I'd buy the electric floor graze only if was around $100, not $240 #I bet Fein's unit costs are high because it's a low volume item). I have a one-generation removed Turbo III and the molding on the underside of the control is like 3 knife edges that cut into your hand.
From woodworking look for to the living room
When my helpmeet's vacuum broke down, we pulled the Fein Turbo II out of the woodworking shop to take over duties until we decided what to buy next. Given how quietness and powerful the vacuum is compared to the expensive plastic junk on the market, I decided to give the electric best brush a try for our carpets. While not inexpensive, it exceeded my expectations in terms of power and usefulness. For criterion, the old upright vacuum was too high to get under low places (like the bed) while this floor brush can fit under tight spaces. The string is long enough to move around a large room easily (and the Fein Turbo II can be pulled easily by the 16' hose which is securely attached.) Looks like the next purchase will be another Fein Vacuum for the house so I can get the Turbo II back in the shop!
Most successfully FLOOR BRUSH I HAVE USED
I have lots of Fein appurtenances and find it to be of the highest quality. This electric floor brush is no exception. It runs very quietly, has an agressive boscage and even picks up on hardwood, which really surprised me. I thought this was only going to work for carpet. On rug it picked up everything in its way with no complaints. I have the newer model Turbo 1 and this broom works very well with it. I highly second this power brush......
Throw off away your conventional vacuum
to get a documentation conventional upright vacuum these days you are looking at at least $400 or more, I bought the PB350 to go with my Fein Turbo 2 and I does a mastery job of picking up dirt off carpet than most uprights i have ever used, while also being lighter and much easier to maneuver than any righteous. The Turbo 2 is the best shop vac style vacuum that money can buy, and this attachment makes it the only vacuum you need for your parliament.

Much Cheaper To Get the FBK Kit With All Pieces
This looks like the same eliminate which comes included with the kit Amazon sells as the Fein FBK Filter Bag kit. I just purchased and installed that FBK kit on my Fein Turbo II vac and I am thrilled with it. Richer reconsider dust collections and the convenience of disposable bags. The bags have a very large collection tome. Suction with the bag + filter seems better than it did with the original cloth liner alone. That kit is less than half the price of the clean here alone. Seems like an easy decision.

    HEPA end filter
It's extravagant. It's small. The paper bag "clips" on the inlet (over a raised ring). The large bag circles the narrow-minded expensive "FINAL FILTER"(I think the designers want the HEPA filter to only give up the small quantity of smallest particles)

Suction doesn't seem to be dimished.

Why was I willing to fritter away 125$ for a vacuum filter system (HEPA 90$ BAGS 16$ HOLDING BRACKET 15$? I was warned on FineHombuilding's dialogue forum "BREAKTIME" that drywall dust would blow the motor if I continued to use the standard problem filter. I found evidence drywall dust was getting through thus it was a matter of time.

I bought this gauze system with no explanation of how it was supposed to work. I had a lot of confidence in Fein's designers (best vac I've ever had) but due to the price I was really tempted to go the cheaper way with a "clone" Hepa filter in tandem with the filter it comes with. I don't think that would have worked very covet because the clone HEPA filter would have been overloaded, plugged up and killed the vacuum by suffication.

I'm happy with the way it all works, and expect to try to come up with a way to empty and re-use the paper bags. If I am successful that will off set some and I'll probably share it on FineHomebuilding's discussion open space "BREAKTIME".

    T.S. is aright
I followed T.S.'s recommendation and bought the competing product. It was a little tricky to find, because it's actually called the CleanStream screen, by Gore. It really does fit beautifully.
    Bettor deal elsewhere
The HEPA dribble works great but is limited to only dry pick-up and using an expensive special paper bag which does transmute for easy clean up but does limit versatility.

I bought a Cleanair Gortex HEPA strainer from Lowes for $29.99 that fits the Red-Coded Craftsman vacuums. This forms a perfect seal and works for wet and dry pick-up. You only constraint to either plug the hole in the bottom of the filter with a plastic plug you can get at Lowes or any car parts store or use a 3/8" x 2.5" mien bolt, nylon washer, and wing nut to more securely fasten the filter. Better colander, better price, easier wet/dry vacuuming.

High-priced, but they're your sinuses and lungs...
When you buy a woodworking machine, the manual doesn't warn you, but if you do a bit of research you'll discover that prolonged exposure to finer dust (smaller than 1 micron, or the dimension of smoke particles) can lead to sinus and lung problems; some serious. Most shop vacuums turn out with filters that retain dust as small as 5 microns (a piece of copier paper is about 100 microns thick). If you thirst for to protect yourself, you need a HEPA filter, which will retain particles smaller than 1 micron.

This pass through is pretty expensive, but without it, why buy the vacuum? For woodworking and sanding, a shop vacuum without a HEPA filter is probably a annihilate of money.

Commercial dust collectors large enough for larger power tools, that space particles smaller than 2 microns, are not yet available at home shop prices. So even with a HEPA clean, if you're using a power saw, planer, etc., you should also wear a respirator with HEPA filters and have something to clean your shop's air before it goes into the interval of your house (and before you remove your respirator). The alternative is to shell out more than the cost of the power tool for a satisfactory industrial grade dust collector, or to build your own (there are instructions and parts on the Internet).

    gamy quality accessories
The perplex sweeper with the swivel head is nicely designed and really easy to use. I brought these before the prevailing generation of cordless vacuums. While the Fein is not as convenient, I still use it for the heavy duty cleaning jobs.
You have to have this kit
Deliberating maybe the price of this kit was too high but not so. I really think I got my monies worth. I have owned the vacuum cleaner for 3 years and put off buying the kit. What was I pensive? Excellent product just like the vacuum cleaner. I was very pleased when the kit arrived in just 4 natural life from Mike's Tools. Thank you!
These attachments are high-priced but useful!
I have owned my Turbo II vacuum for a legions of years now, and I will admit that I was never willing to spend the money for these attachments. It is true that there are many lesser vacuums out there that classify the tools, but I always told myself that I would rather have an awesome shop vac and no tools versus a so-so vac with tools. Recently, I for ever coughed up the money for these attachments and I am thrilled to have so much more versatility when using a favored tool. I have had surely zero problems with any of the attachments. It is true that there are no "positive lock" mechanisms on the mating pieces, yet I have never had the attachments involve apart even after hours of continuous use. I have cleaned our cars, sucked up sawdust, and vanquished cobwebs all to my skilful satisfaction. The adjustable "bristles" on the floor attachment make pulling stuff off of doormat (such as dust/dirt/woodchips in a car trunk) a painless task.

If there is a downside, it is the lack of a serviceable way to store these tools "onboard" the Turbo II machine (as some other shop vacs offer). For now I am keeping the attachments in a drawer and the metal lengthening wands lean in a corner. But I guess this is more my problem than a criticism of this tool set. Overall I am thrilled with the interpretation of this product and I recommend its purchase without reservation!

No great shakes tools; poor value
I am disillusioned in the Fein tool kit for the following reasons: the devices are lacking a basic positive-lock family feature (often incorporated in the form of that classic little round-topped chrome handle that springs up into a hole on the mating piece), and they generally are (aside from the floor attachment and chrome tubes) very come out gauge material. I have a ... little Eureka "Mighty Mite" compact vacuum, and its tools are really more substantial than the supposedly "industrial grade" Fein products. Ultimately I imagine these accessories will work keen, but I am actually amazed at the high price relative to what is provided. ... Final grouse - I really can't imagine that anyone who orders the Fein vacuum cleaner wouldn't want the tools - they should come with the contrivance. Separating them out seems to be a way of keeping the machine's cost down - ultimately an artificial savings.
    Crucial Product
The Wet/Dry kit works horrific and was produced with a higher quality material than I imagined. I was also leary about buying from Amazon and using the free of charge shipping but, the kit shipped within two days and arrived within five days. All in all, shopping at Amazon couldn't be easier and the Fein Wet/Dry kit is value every penny.

    A Well-known Upgrade to a Great Vac!
I've had a Fein Turbo II vacuum for several years now and I like it a cluster. But, I have never liked emptying and cleaning it, especially the hassle of cleaning the original cloth liner.

Now with this kit installed I get raise filtration, excellent suction and easy emptying. The dust bag is surprisingly large. I'm safe I will end up changing it more often than I cleaned the unit before simply because it is so much easier to do. Even so, I doubt I will go through more than three or four bags per year in my use. The extremely expense is worth it both for convenience and for minimizing the amount of dust in the air. I'm constantly battling with dust in my woodshop for bald-faced reasons. This helps!

My only complaint is that there are absolutely no instructions included with the kit. Luckily it isn't hard to symbol out, but you would think that they could have tossed a simple one page instruction sheet in the box.

    Fein By Me!
The Fein Turbo II (9-55-13) has received a overcast workout in my shop for years. It has handled all kinds of dust and debris, including sheetrock dust that chokes many other vacuums. The dream of hose provides great access and reduces the need to keep moving the vacuum. The power dress switch lets you hook the vacuum to a sander, router, or other dust-producing tool. Start the cat's-paw and it starts the vacuum.

Another great feature is the low decibel rating. Many carpenters know that the shop vacuum is the noisiest contrivance in the shop. Fein protects your hearing and saves you money with its great durability. This tool is bulletproof!
    You'll Longing to Get This
You may as well get this because you're flourishing to need it if you do any kind of dust extraction at al. The cloth bag that comes with the Turbo II will simply magnify all the nastiest of the small particles around your shop. I bought this kit when I bought the unit and plan to upgrade to an aftermarket HEPA clean as others have described on this site.
    Does a hairy job
Uncompromising to review something so boring, but this replacement kit does a fine job. I really don't like using gear at all but this is pretty easy to change out and it's always nice to put on a fresh filter too. Fein did a nice job with this kit and I would recommend using proper Fein parts and accessories if you own one of their shop vacs.

In-compatibility of tools and vacuums for small tool dust ...

I am new to Boards Jocks, so this question may be an old one – if so, even-handed reject it. My grouse, and inquiry concerns the incompatibility between handy employee tools and look for vacuums for dust pick up. I have numerous pocket-sized power tools, saws, routers, sanders, etc., that have the implicit for dust pickup, but seldom is the pickup orifice sized to fit a “ordinary” vacuum. Even within the same producer, the tools and vacuums are contradictory. For occurrence, I have a Fein Dust Extractor and a Fein Multi-taskmaster sander. The dust pickup for the sander is a separate hugeness than the vacuum! Crack-brained. Door-keeper Wire’s drywall sander does not fit Fein, Wap, nor Craftsman. Perchance it frenzy the PC vacuum, but I already have more vacuums than I be deficient in, so buying another specifically for the drywall sander is not growing to transpire. I have one of their adventitiously go round sanders, an older element that works terrific. I ordered the dust assemblage accessories for it and found the hose is a unsurpassed hugeness and nothing frenzy it which means I’m back to tube stripe, which indeed works ok, but is klutzy and makes switching between tools a larger pain.

The shop vac I find most shabby for borrow up is the Wap – their hose frenzy nothing! The Fein is a bit wagerer, and of way the Craftsman 2.5” hose is somewhat characteristic, but again, it fits of laughter nothing without an adapter. Some adapters are readily obtainable but the ones I’ve found are amateurishly meant with an hasty part a substitute alternatively of inchmeal transmutation.

Oneida makes a charming scarcely typhoon called the Dust Envoy that works well, but again, doesn’t fit any of my vacuums – The inlet on my Dust Delegate is 2”. The Craftsman vac (in all probability one of the most routine on the hawk) is 2.5” which means you cannot tie together the vac without delay to the typhoon – they proffer hoses with distinct shackles on the end, but not a 2.5” hose that has a 2.5” cuff on one end and a 2” cuff on the other end, which means you must use an adapter to fasten a Craftsman vac to the module. Seems ridiculous to me since the special to gain of the Dust Stand-in is to act as an in-between for the workshop vacuum and the apparatus.
