Evaporative Coolers Don't Guzzle Water After All
The segment is skilled to set forth 3.5 tons of cooling with only 456 watts of verve, without a hitch within reach of a solar panel. The puzzler is the be inconsistent; the piece sucks up almost 2.5 gallons per ton of cooling per hour, which could add up lickety-split in a function like Phoenix. It is justified vapourized and ruined into the air. There very is a tradeoff between vibrations and be indefensible, and strategic now both are a predicament.

are cheap evaporative coolers safe?
Q: I well-grounded bought a $50 evaporative cooler made in china
it says that it only consumes 60 watts
I was wondering if it is sure
A: Should be. Most are made there anyway. You still get what you pay for. Don't upon much from a $50 60watt unit.

Did the mobo burn or do I need more Watts on my Power Supply?
Q: I recently purchased an EVGA 780i Motherboard and habituated to a 550W Power Supply to power it and the coolers from the Cooler Master victim. The problem I ran into was that when I would turn on the source the mobo would light a blue handle at the very top, signifying it is receiving power. However, when I try to turn on the computer there is absolutely no action whatsoever. Nothing moves, no cooler no lights run. After looking and double checking every single connection and power cords to the mobo and the processor I realised a trivial spark and some small amounts of smoke coming out of the mobo power socket (not the CPU one). I took everything out of the close up, tried it again yet again no action on the mobo. I don't have any reason to believe it got fried since the downcast light turns on whenever I turn on the power supply, thus there is still current uninterrupted through it.
A: Sounds like your motherboard. You can try to X the power connector from the PSU but sparks and smoke are VERY bad. You don't list everything attached to the PSU but what you have obviously won't overtax 550 Watts.
